Poem Beasts

The Automess (Automobile)

Too many fruits of profit

Aerodiemaniacally convenient
this numberless herd stampedes along
snorting deadly farts
trampling all free ways
racing itself quashed
accelerating from zero to crash.
These screeching menaces daily lock horns.
Roar hungry whines.
Streamline oily minds.
Crash into curses.
Steal frozen grins.
curb curve shinny babydeaths.
Plague blue skys
       dead brown.
Place all in mobile caskets.
Automess is only trying
to find an empty space.
But where?
