Poem Beasts

The Bestebeau (Best Beast)

Silly but true

The spring bunny nibbles away.
Because it’s hungry.
Naturally.
Has big ears because
it needs them.
Because mother knows best.
By her nature.
And what Goldielocks stole.
For her nature.
Poppa, Mama, and Baby Bear were angry.
By their nature.
In innocent tales all the beasts of the woods
seem to act naturally.
That is not good not bad.
Just live their lives.
Except for one. Humbeast?

Poem Beasts

The Enemex (Enema)

What a relief

All beasts need at least one Enemex
to defend their lax.
Not to like exactly like it.
Hit-em in the smug.
Pepper their mush.
Turn exchanges into big hits.
Make wronger
stronger

Remember an Enemex is its own worst Enemex.
Use the frontal approach.
Lift a paw bravely towards its kisser.
If it gets coy, good!
Run away.

No! Give Enemex a shot.
Mix in one cherry.
Not to worry.

Remember: Hate thine Enemex.
But do not purge it.

Poem Beasts

The Freedump (America)

Get out of your cage

What a …
Lots and lots of trash.
Plenty of gas.
No class.
Where’s the discipline?
Explain.
No shame.
Just fartin around.

What then does Freedump want?
Besides plenty?
It’s unsure.
To be sure is slavery.
A chance of death is bravery.
Not a chance. To chancy.
The world?
That’s the limit.

But can free go
beyond the no?

Freedump hopes so.
At least enough
For a patriotic show.
