Here we are with sheets

Here we are with sheets
two pairs of left feets, when you turn over
and you are such a comforter
                              to her while me
is in agony over all this

what about the feet, these arms, the charms of curls,
boys and girls know about? what about the lips, the eyes,
the thighs raised to the licking skies?
                                        turn one angle and I’m gone (fond)
                                        like that frog in that pond

Silence has nothing to do with it, I’m through with it, I’m gone.
