Poem Beasts

The Xelcano (Volcano)

Hell fire manifested on Earth

Earth wrinkles, splitting
down cone
closing blues
(cone down
and
blues closing).
Molten mouth spews up
awful collapse of green wings.
Fiery gloomed yesterdays
illume ash-gray memorials.
Tabasco-red blood pours
hellbirds’ devil screams
on impfiends’ darkest laughter.
Mush rock belly shakes like jelly.
Dungeoned fire bursts out anew.
Benign weather sizzles blasted slopes.

Xelcano is life.
The earth furnace cools.
Against earth’s parched skin sprouts
fresh delirium.
