Poem Beasts

The Humbeast (Human)

Ho-hum

most sophisticated, most beautiful
of all it surveys pretends
to live in its exclusive alien world,
a gift from its excuse
       called God.
The beast smells very deodorant.
Yet blames all other beasts for its pleasure world
       Humbeast’s garbage.
For instance its rotten air is blamed
on dragons
on dragon shit
on shit itself.

A self-faking fraud, Humbeast dotes
on spiritual rheumatism.
Religious, it preys upon ambiguity-bought
pure
       eternal future.

Humbeast idolizes only more popular Humbeasts.
Mesmerized by ‘They,’ reactive billions are happy
to
       be sat on.
Its bestiality is held in check only
by fear
       of the dark.
