Poem Beasts

The Plebeast (Plebeian)

The working stiff as flexible

Tries to out-drive Patbeast.
More power to it.
Add a Rolls-Royce.

Pleb’s diet is junk food
       and Patbeasts.
And the ‘higher standard of living.’
       Standard is not living.

Patbeasts not to worry, play
with genius or mundane and wait
for a fresh apple to fall on their heads.
Free accidents from dreams.
Plebeasts like their accidents explosive.
Did not all dreams originate with the original ‘accident?’
Patbeast and Plebeast both intertwined
in an enduring vine
       renewing leaves a few gorgeous flowers.
And new seeds to spin off to the winds.
